Just a quick update on what has happened since I last wrote on my blog =). And yes I still do miss Africa, in case you wondered !!
After leaving Africa last summer, I've mainly been in school and had a few exams. Right before summerbreak we had an 8 weeks appenticeship in hospital. Mine was spent in the surgical orthopedic ward.
Over the summer I worked in a place for multihandicapped, chronically ill children. A time spent in gratitude, and appreciation that I'm well and not ill. 15 fantastic children, whom one care for, and love to work with. Challenges, ethical questions..... A time where I learned a lot.And now yet again in a new 8 weeks of apprenticeship in hospital. This time in the mecidal ward, first day tomorrow.......
